Kudos to Cliff for bringing us this breakthrough in race relations:

this. is. FUNNY.

If somebody made a commercial like this in New Orleans, they would win the election.

that is true. a poorly-acted and hilariously staged racial harmony commercial would be win-win-win for bloggers, an enterprising candidate, and the community at-large.

I could totally see a Frankie and Johnny's-style election commercial for a mayoral candidate. They'd need to find a good Special Man, though.

"You want good government with transparency, accountability, and fewer recourses to race-baiting? See the Special Man!"

"Let 'em have it."

"With NOOOOOO PROBLEM!!!!"

I should have never abandoned my own run for Mayor. Damn it.

So, if this video is racial reconciliation, and this is racial division (http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-6678064773133151531&ei=o-rLSum9BoLIqQKKxt2hCw&hl=en#), then what's Senator Ed Murray doing in the background... just sayin.

This isn't really where I want to have a drawn-out conversation about this but I wasn't offended by the chocolate city remarks nor will I penalize Senator Murray for happening to have been there to hear it.
