Pitch Perfect

Napolitano and Donovan tell me exactly what I want to hear.

"To be honest, we have been disturbed by what we have seen and what we have not seen in terms of progress," Mr. Donovan said at a press conference with Ms. Napolitano, who said she has been asking "why" the red tape has been so thick.

"This will not be the last time we are here," Ms. Napolitano said. "This will not be the last time I ask, 'Why?'"

Now make good, help us find answers.

President Obama needs to have the Director of Gulf Coast Recovery ramrodding mandates from the bully pulpit and shaming state and local officials when they drag their feet.

Blakeley's claim that the nmoney has not been spent because the department in the city has been understaffed and that contractors have not been available to do the work is ludicrus. There have to be provoisions that allow for the cost of administering these funds efficiently.

Thankfully Lee Zurik is doing his job. Channel 6 is now relegated to asking softball question for fear of loosing access to the mayor.
