FBI Investigation Reveals Glaring Post-Katrina Terrorist Shortage

Remember when posters on telephone polls were going to burn down condos all over town?

Oyster alerts us that the FBI investigation of the threatening pieces of paper has concluded.

The mysterious posters that pro-demolition forces seized upon enthusiastically to avoid debating the efficacy of demolishing the public housing stock of the city in the midst of an affordable housing emergency constitute a threat that "lacks merit."

You mean, there isn't a grand conspiracy of underground lefty-terrorists that are plotting to burn down condominiums all over the city?

I'd like to personally thank our local politicians for poisoning public discourse on an issue of great importance to the revitalization of the city. They were so brave to seize upon this baseless "threat" to discredit public housing advocates and avoid discussion of the housing crisis. Also, I'm especially glad that the political points they scored in legitimizing the "threat" by bringing in the FBI to aggressively investigate cost tax payer dollars that might better be misused on one of the FBI's other projects .

It's amazing what greedy developers and politicians can make people do.
