Green Wave Go Cheryl Gray All Over Nicholls State

Another convincing victory for the Tulane Green Wave Men's Basketball heros.

They cruised 73-51. They actually won by a margin larger than the one I predicted on Friday. They even opened the game in the hole. We went on a tremendous scoring drought to open the game in which we couldn't hit a basket for like a ten minute stretch. We were down a lot. Robinson Louisme pulled us through it. We had a lead at the half somehow and then pulled away in the second half. Kevin Sims played a tough game, he's only getting warmed up. Freshman Kris Richard looked amazing while he was on the court. He passes well, seems to have excellent court vision, and even played some point guard while Sims rested. He looks extremely impressive and could be a critical playmaker during his first season.

Coach Dickerson was not happy with his team's performance. He's got high expectations for his team and is going to make sure they're playing their best basketball for Syracuse and LSU next month.

Next week however, is a HUGE test against crosstown rival UNO and standout guard Bo McCaleb. They just knocked off 21st ranked N.C. State, so these boys are no joke. The game will be played at Fogelman, but Tulane students will be all away for Thanksgiving, so there may be a home-court advantage for the opposing Privateers.

If you've been considering going to a game, next Saturday would be a great one to choose. It should be a highly competitive game, both of these teams are under-the-radar good.

Roll Wave.
